by biometrics inso we have a jw next door who went to the assembly over the w/e.
yesterday she gave 'gift' to my wife for my kids.. that's right it was the sparlock dvd.
i didn't know about the gift until i saw my kids watching it this morning.. is it safe to let my kids watch it?.

Advice needed please.

i am a baptised jw(born-in).. i was a publisher in good standing until about last december when i stopped putting in fs time as well as attending meetings and conventions including this year's memorial.. i no longer believe in the teachings of the watchtower society.. about 3 weeks ago an elder and a ms from my cong came to ny house uninvited and told me they were just checking on me and wanted to find why i haven't been to the meetings for such a long time.
they told me it was not an official visit, but sort of hinted to me that if i don't show up then i might be getting an official one soon.

Why you love America

As far as I am aware, Russell is not the only person who is hard to track down, as I have been told by ex-masons they are allowed to lie for the greater good, a lot like the story of ruth. The evidence is not conclusive but it does suggest that Russel was influenced by masons but it may not be the reason why he started the bible students, I also heard that Russel was not the president, I would be interest to know more about the founder of the bible students than Russell.

FlyingHighNow: Sorry I got my wires crossed, I am a bit upsett with something that has nothing to do with this topic so I hope this does not come out too bitter. As cofty pointed the issue in Germany is not that mutilating a boys penis is wrong, its that the legal guardians should not have a say, second - many that do these things are for religious purposes but thanks to good ol cognitive dissonance you see a lot of HORSESHIT positiving mutilation on the internet (its hygienic, sex is the same - BULLSHIT), read some peer review articles on the internet written by actuall doctors on circumcision. Third - the foreskin is to PREVENT disease, the thing about evolution its that it does the most to improve ourselves (although there can be defects), how on earth can you compare mutilation to piercing, cutting the foreskin is like cutting the ear flap completly off, they both have functions. Now in adulthood if the person is to remove his skin, have a sex change or get tatoos is completly up to them, I dont care its their bodies but they are old enought to look into the matter they will be undertaking to fully understand it and its consequences.

Farkel: It is outrageous to me that a government can dictate whether or not parents can make these kind of decisions. They'll be telling you next what you MUST and MUST NOT eat, and what kind of toilet paper they will permit you to use.
By your logic, the government should not intervene when a parent refuses a blood transfusion, should not intervene if you give in tatoos or get him to smoke, take drugs and drink alcohool, its a double standard Farkel.
Anyone know was "smegma" is? Circumcision prevents that. Did you know taking showers also prevents (old) smegma, oh and did you know that women produce smegma! and that smegma use is for lubrication!!!

Hitler once said man will swallow any lie provided it's big enough, he knew too well that he had to deceive his romain catholic people, still his objective was lunacy to say the least, and many died, today ww2 is just vague memory and after 6 more generations it will just be in history books. Hitler may had good intentions, but just for his people, this is how I view the gb, some more delusional than others but they are all part of the voting system, they all share responsibility therefore they all have their hands soaked in blood and guts. As for delusional, look how clever their literature is written, they are aware of the problems, this is not the same delusional as mind control but delusional when they blame their bad decisions on others and think they can get away with it.
